Not really an earth shaking matter ..but..
I just took a look at screen shot section. I know thats the least important section to most of you.Im wondering if the rules have changed or if there is a glitch in the ratings.
I Make it no secret that I dislike " cheesecake " screen shots of women in half nude poses. But it has been allowed since i've been here. Nudity doesnt bother me at all. Artistic nudes are quite pretty. Im talking about walls with women spread eagled in cutsie poses. I think there is a time and a place for everything. But..99% of the time, I just skip over those I find put women in a sexual way ...its no different if i were to make screen shots using naked men lying on a bear skin rugs. Not that I could even find such a wall. I tried..believe me......
I know that men and women are from different planets...I know that most dont care for my type of shots with fairies and dragons and flowers. And thats just fine.....

My question is.....could a moderator please check the SS section when they get a chance to see if there is a glitch or if someone is doing drive by ratings. I cant believe that there is that many shots with 1 or 2 star ratings. Seems out of place. If rules have changed and this type of shot is not acceptable..perhaps a notation from a moderator would be warranted. Some need a load of bricks dropped on them before they would actually take they low rating as a hint. I cant in all honesty rate a screen shot with cheeky women....

Hmmm, the title led me to believe this thread would be about eating mac-n-cheese while mooning the neighborhood through the lving room window-- not an easy feat, I imagine.

As for SS, here's another way to think about it: The person posting should envision his daughter/her son as the person in the picture. How would you feel if you clicked the link & saw your child in that image? Would other viewers be looking or leering. Please get the gist of what I'm saying & not get into technical details-- of course it might take imagining the child older or younger-- I don't have kids myself, but can get a strong sense of it anyway.

This was an asumptioned based on her girlie style screenshots I would suspect. Well, your 18 and posting screenshots with almost adult content. What do you think everyone thinks of you? I am not responsible for your actions. Not yesterday, not today, not......why bother.

I was 17, 34 years ago [oh heck...I'm 3 times that age] and doing Life-drawing [yes, of nude men and women].  It was/is called 'Fine Art', and part of the Architecture course.

I have no idea how that equates to 'almost adult content', but nudity/partial nudity is NOT a basis for a work's exclusion from Wincustomize, be it a wall, a logon or a screenshot.

What IS rejected is the use of overtly gratuitous and/or explicit.

Even one of my own logons is a nude drawing of my wife [1981].  It's all about context and execution...

As for the ratings....there does seem to be a 'glitch'.  Site coding is constantly being improved/modded...so these things 'happen'.  I'm sure the back-room boys will be all elbows, presently....

Thats twice around here I have come across as the nudity police for just entering into a conversation. I don't get it. I don't care what is posted. Religous content bothers me more but I would never hold it against anyone. As the matter of fact I am glad to see some of the stuff posted here.

I can't believe someone would trade ice cream.

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth and the earth was without form and void" and then He made ice cream and it all made sense. If I was diagnosed as being allergic to Ice Cream, Coffee and Mac, well.... I'm not so sure that life would be as good as it is now. Please don't trade your ice cream away. Send it to me.

No..you really didnt come across in a bad way at all. Jafo and I had had this conversation before about nude art. He was just reenforcing that not all nudity is bad ..he knows what I mean by cheesecake poses. I think you all know what I mean. Most men here at WC have the common sense to tell them what is appropriate nudity.

A bare womans breast with honey dripping on the " nipple "..some call it art..I call it crap.

Remove all ratings for SS. Do that and you remove all pet jealousies, arguments and hopefully those spammers that seem to have taken over SS section, those that view it as some kind of competition where it's quantity over quality.
I'll be buggered if Id stop to comment on someones SS when they upload 4 or 5 a day and if these clowns that spam had no comments and there were no ratings to feed their over inflated egoes they'd soon tire of the pointless exercise they're engaged in and move on or at least slow down.
SS can be creative and can be useful in giving others ideas but how creative are some when they churn them out like some damn assembly line. Boring.

It must be a pain for moderators to even deal with so many screen shots some days. No wonder they get backed up in other sections. Granted , screen shots arent much to moderate but it still takes time to upload them to the site.

If you said 1 screen a day or week or month..I would abide by the rules. I like rules..I like order...chaos gives me hiccups

Also, not that it matters much, but I agree with comments 69 on down. That is why I no longer do screenshots here.
