Do you guys and girls prefer a wall over a bootskin or the other way around?

wallpaper...my bootskin is like the last thing I even think about...I do use logons..but..only cos someone made me one out of my special wallpaper.

Usually a wall-not always. The exceptions are dark images. I like alot of them, but somehow I can't work well when I have them installed, even when using a lighter WB*. So I'm pretty happy when a dark wall I like is made into a boot. I do wish the color limitation was over. Maybe in Vista?

*Weird I know-can't explain it.

walls for sure, and logons, never see my bootscreen much, but it is pretty funny!

Seems the majority prefer walls! Unless you are waiting for a whole lot more replies!

I like the fact that we can have walls that were made into boots (or even logons)as options of having both on our computers to enjoy during the same boot! Yeah, the wall lasts a little longer (visually), but what the hey. At least it's the best of both worlds. And of course, variety is the spice of life! Can't help it. I love that saying!

I use a Bootskin and love it but it is seen for a very short time so my answer to your question would have to be Wall.

Wallpaper only - I don't play around with the boot process, unless I need to troubleshoot with safe mode, clean boot, or last known good.

I'd have to say walls for the extended visual experience, but I also like it when the bootscreen and logon are matching.... not that I was ever a military man, but i like things to be regimented somewhat.

I was just curious ya all,cause the downloads between walls and boots differ like earth from sky situation!!!

Some arithmetic examples from My Stats:

Genesis Aftermath Wall: 244 DLs. (Posted at 12/09/05).
Genesis Aftermath Boots: 2907 DLs. (Posted at 24/09/05 and 25/09/05).

The Longest Journey - Revisited II Wall: 59 DLs.
The Longest Journey - Revisited II Boots: 11751 DLs.

Ain't that weird or not? Since the majority has a flavor for walls!

There are only a few places to find bootskins, if you're looking for them. Wallpapers are much more common.

Your bootskins get more downloads because there is less competition.

Bootskins are for running in to tinkle and get a brew. Wallpapers are for viewing while sipping that brew...and then if need be restarting to go and tinkle after the brew.....oh, I think you get it.
