"turn off computer" & "Start Menu"

I have just recently installed the free ObjectDock and have hidden the task bar & desktop and was wondering,

how do i get the "turn off computer" from the original XP start menu, on my the ObjectDock? (so i click on a shortcut to open the "Stand by/Turn Off/Restart" box)

& Is there anyway i can have a shortcut to a different style start menu, instead of a folder? I recently changed it to a dropdown box, but has now gone back to the folder and dont know how to put back!

Thanks

Download the file "Presstart" from this website, put it in any directory and create a dock shortcut to it. Works like a charm. Link

Sorry,

Free version is a bit different.

You should be able to go to Dock Settings > Create menu > New 'Start Menu' Entry.

I realize that this thread is about 3yrs old but it is how I found the answer to a similar question.  There are a couple great suggestions here for adding a start menu shortcut(which is no longer an issue with the newer versions of objectdock), however I don't think anyone hit the nail on the head with the "Power Button" issue.  Lantec is super close. This link that he posted will direct you to a page with some neat little tools.  One of them is called "CloseWin v1.0".  Download this & place it anywhere then simply drag & drop into ObjectDock for a shortcut to the "turn off computer" dialog box.  **Note** This program does not claim to be Vista compatible.  I run XP so am unsure.
