Help with Paint Shop Pro 9.0

I recently installed paint shop pro X and found I wanted to use 9.0 instead. Problem is when I uninstalled 9.0 I had to do it manually because I kept getting an error saying the installer was invalid or something like that. Anyway, I uninstalled X, then when I try to reinstall 9.0 I get an error message saying that another version is already installed and cannot continue. Anyone know how to fix this??

I would try a system restore while waiting for some better assistance.

Jasc used to make a utility called ZapJasc.exe which would do just as the filename states.
However, since Corel got their hands on Paint Shop I don't see that utility existing any longer.
Buuuttt.. with a bit of due diligence I have found it..

For future reference, you can have both versions on your system.
