Help with DesktopX

Ok, I applyed the Sputnik DesktopX thing to my computer, but it doesn't show the taskbar,systray or that menu (start) button. Is there any way I can make them both be on the screen like in pixtudio's screenshot? Because if I apply DesktopX, my normal stuff disappears (my desktop files, menu bar at bottom) and when I switch it off it comes back.

So do I have to create some thing for it at the bottom so it'll act as a taskbar?

Downloading to look. But, I'm also getting ready to head to work.

Sputnik DX2 worked fine for me.
