Personal Sites Descriptions

...An explanatory site thread

This is an idea that popped in my head so here goes....

This thread's purpose is to give the ability to subscribers to post links towards their personal sites (in WC or anywhere else) providing a short/long description as to what the user will find in their site.

The reason to do this is because there is no desciption on personal sites as to what is the content,what you'll expect to find in the site. So to cut down search time (it ain't easy to search endless galleries when on 56k) if anyone is interested please do send your links and a brief description.

This could be used as a useful guide to the newer members as to who is doing what in this site.

So come on ya all,chip in to create an explanatory guide to who is skinning what.

Lair of the Great Sphynx

This is my personal site here at Wincustomize created just about a month ago. You can find all my skin submissions here. What are they? Well, you may find:
- 3 windowblinds skin
- 11 logons
- 2 bootskins
- 1 rainlendar
- 4 screenshots


Well, those are basically the skins i have submitted. Also, you can see the skin which i currently feature. It's MountainDragon's Dragon SideBar which is a very very neat skin. Visit too my articles tab to see what article i have posted both here and at JU.

Okay i'll send mine aswell...So here goes:

I'm on WC for the last five years and a member of the community for the past three years. Last year i became a Subsciber,thus i go to have a Personal Site.

My Personal Site Link: Link

In My Personal you'll find the following:

- Wide variety of wallpapers,mainly Bryce abstracts,Photoshop photo manips,some conceptual art,Bryce-Photoshop combo art and some renders with Vue D'Esprit,Maya and 3DSM. Usual theming is abstract,some technical and some landscapes.

- Wide variety of bootskins theming just about anything. I'll be uploading a big series of animated characters boots soon.

- Two DX Themes,the one fully skinned with many many icons.

- Some Winamp AVS Packs.

- Some Screenshot,on average once a month.

Hmmm.

You can find me in my tie-dye shirt (or one of them I still have from my Grateful Dead touring years).

You can find links to my mini tutorials for beginners, which will grow over the next month as I settle into a new weekly schedule leaving time on the weekends to complete the projects.

You can find my beginning attempts at graphic arts with a few icons and a couple of walls, along with the screenshots I uploaded while starting to be a part of the community here.

Sorry, no images in the Photo Album yet, due to the lack of a digital camera when my family, friends, and at the time girl friend were in the photo taking mode - I will try to change that over the next year.

Title = "Dream Under Construction Site", which kind of sums it up.

Yeap i find this to be a bit neglected. The Guest Book should be on the main page,not the last page! Or at least have a small box to the side of the main site in order that the user can just comment on the site without having to visit another page.
