i always wondered...Are animated emotions...

i have always wondered where people get those animated emotions. It looks cool to me and i always wanted to have one, well...get one.

But i noticed that every user who had used these animated emotions have a wincustomize subscription. so are the animated emotions for subscribers?

How do you get animated emotions?

Sorry, Tarkus. Unless you want a rectangular avatar, that will need to do it. Unless I start over and make it all smaller.

No, it's fine as is. Like I said, it's a very minor nit. Thanks, I've been wanting something like that for a long time, and you far exceeded my hopes and expectations!

You're welcome, Tarkus.

BTW, what's a good program for resizing animated GIFs? As I recall, ACDSee only saves the first frame when resizing.

I only know PSP animation shop. Maybe one of the more savvy wizops can help, or a skinner who does a lot of animations. Anyone?

Ok, think I'll jump on PS2 and save the universe for a while before work. I'll get to your AIM avatar tomorrow, Bash buddy.

the Jasc....err...corel?....animation shop is the only one of all the stuff i have downloaded that resizes an animation with the click of a button. Maybe photoshop? before i figured out animation shop could do that, i would extract all frames with irfanview, the resize (maybe edit too) each frame then put them together in MS Gifanimator, with maybe a short stop at Giffy to make them transparent first.

Turns out the universe doesn't need me.

uh, not so. we can only tear'em up. we can't build'em.

Thanks.

Speaking of transparency, I saw that you removed the transparency on my GIF. As a result, the animated version only looks good on a white background. I changed the first frame in MS GIF Animator, but unfortunately, a white background still shows up behind the smoke. Is that something that can be fixed easily, or would it require starting over?

how did you change it in gif animator?
I opened your image in PSP and it automatically put a background on it. I'll redo it. Just give me a couple of days.

Bichur: I just inserted the image I wanted at the top, and then deleted the old one.

SD: Take your time!

Tarkus, do you also use Giffy?
Actually, I don't use anything.

I just happened to have MS GIF Animator, so that's what I tried to use to edit it.

I'm going to look into Giffy and Animation Shop, though.

I left Bash some links in comments 76-78
ms gifanimator, giffy, pivot (stick figure gifs), eztoon (draw your own) - both pivot and eztoon overlay tracing paper for next frame (can also copy/paste into next frame in both and use eraser for minor mods in eztoon). with both of those, once created - you can extract (irfanview works well for that {free}) then color and put back together in gifanimator.

all fun to play with, just wish i had more time

you can get a 30 day trial of animation shop or just buy it for about $39 - or buy psp9 and get it free
