New Ipod and switching to Itunes...

Well I got my hands on a 20 Gig 4th generation Ipod. So far I love it. Having my music with me on the go is so cool. I also switched to Itunes to handle my music playback vs WMP. So after spending countless hours getting my music the way I want it and all labled correctly and uploaded to the Ipod I have a few questions for other Ipod owners.

And good podcasts worth downloading and listening to?

How long does is battery life for playback?

How long does the battery last before it needs replaced? How about the little HD? how long is it's life?

Anyhow I'm having fun!

It really depends what you are into. There are podcasts for just about anything now. You are able to search iTunes for podcasts also.

That depends on some things. Obviously if you keep the backlight on battery life will decrease. I have a 3rd generation and I get about 5 to 6 hours, sometimes less.

I have had mine for almost two years. The battery was never "great", but that is why I joined the iPod lawsuit about battery life. I know several people with iPods and they all seem to last. Just like any electronics it could last for years, or not.
