i don't think that i'm going to win because three people just submitted their own bootskin for the contest and it's good. so... i hope i still win but i also kind of think that there is no hope.

Hey Bash, it's not whether you win or lose but how well you play the game, and if you look at it all with a negative/defeatist attitude, you'll not enjoy your work or the contest, and that'd be a shame.......keep yer chin up, sunshine

Bash...your only 14...this is only a contest (there will be many more)...you will experience many disappointments in life...learn from them and move on...they will make you a better person and its just part of life. And don't give up before the contest is even over...who knows...you just might be surprised and win. But even if you don't...you tried...and thats the most important thing.

THE CONTEST!!

Everything else is irrelevant. Age has nothing to do with skills, enthusiasm or power of achievement.
This is not the first and it certainly will not be the last contests on WC.

Depends on why they say it. Take WebGizmos' statements in #6 and #9. These were not said to make you feel different because you are 14 {and by the way, don't complain too much...we only know this because you have beaten it into our heads.. } but because it denotes you have lots more time and there will be lots more contests. Here, there, everywhere. Think about it. You're 14. I'm 48. If we both live to be 50 years old, then I only have 2 more years of contests or whatever while you have 36 more years.

common Bash, the first time that i get in this site and i saw the incredible work of the older skinners (and when i say "older" i mean the time they are in this site), licke Adni or MikeB314 (and many more), i just wish to be licke theme; you can see my skins gallery, from my first logon skin (that it was a piece of shit), to the last one, you can see a big difference; but what makes that difference? A= "EXPERIENCE", only that.
