Desktop 3.1 Keeps Blinking in/out

Problem:
DesktopX desktop keeps blinking in/out.


So how did I get there?:
After starting DesktopX and loading a theme, everything runs fine for a few minutes.
Then, at random intervals, my desktop will disappear for a moment, then come back.

Edit:
It's just the DesktopX objects that are blinking out. The background along with whatever windows I'm working with are fine.

Ok, so what have I tried?:
To make sure it wasn't my particular theme, I downloaded others for DesktopX. All of them showed the same problem.


Huh....anything else?:
I'm running Windows XP with service pack 2, along with DesktopX 3.1

Other than this, DesktopX is REALLY nice.

good video card? drivers up to date.

I've been using DTX for 2 yrs, never had your problem.

Yep. I'm using a brand new Alienware notebook with a Geforce 6800 video card.

What version of DTX are you using?
