WindowBlinds problem

I just installed WindowBlinds, but I can't find a way to change skins. I am told to go to the Appearance tab to change skins, but aren't any changes. I have no way to actually change the skins. I am running WinXP Home. If more information is needed, please let me know.

To be more clear, the buttons that WindowBlinds is supposed to add to the Appearance tab simply aren't there. This is a new WinXP installation, also. So there were no previous versions of WindowBlinds.

You should be able to go to "Start button > All Programs > locate the WindowBlinds program icon in either a Stardock, or Object Desktop folder > click the WindowBlinds icon to start the application > you should then be viewing the WindowBlinds configuration panel.

With the "My Skins" category selected in the left-hand list (this should be selected by default when the program starts) > click on one of the skins listed in the main pane > click the "Apply this skin now" link on the right-hand side of the configuration panel.

Wait a few seconds while the skin is applied.

Just out of curiosity, are you using the shareware (free) version, or the enhanced (purchased) version of WindowBlinds?

I have not used the shareware version for a long time (Object Desktop is installed on my machines), so I could be wrong, but I believe the shareware version may not integrate into the Display Properties console.

I hope this helps.
