"Gotta go...Gotta get away..."

While, with out any doubts i love my mum, she's been with me through thick and thin, and has stood by me when things where the worst... I just want to (to quote a song: (lenny kravitz "fly away") "I gotta go....gotta get away, gotta go...gotta fly away..." I am ready to get going with college, to go ahead and get to Eugene and attend University of Oregon, to get out of klamath falls (though its my hometown)....it (my wanting to get out of klamath falls,etc...) could also be like the song that says "I'm like a bird, i gotta fly away.." ...but, i'm caged... (again with the dang bird comparisons, guess i'm a "bird brain" ;p ) by the fact that i HAVE to stay in klamath falls to stop my sleep apnea, pulminary hypertension, enlarged heart, lung, and get the CO2 gases down....is a big 'ol pain in my A%$.....but...unfortunatley, it happens...i can't do anything but get better...gotta go on...unfortunatley according to the doc said it will take at least 2 years, (approx. 2-5 years) to "patch" everything up...also, in order to get my associate transfer degree(i believe its only in oregon) will take about 4 years, (minimum 90 credit hours...max of 115)....oy, i'm sitting here...typing this and good morning america is on and there is a country singer on...country music can be very distracting.... :P :) ;p

Well, gotta go, going outside to practice my QB'ing form (check my latest journal like article to get background)......GO DUCKS! ;p

An associates degree only takes 2 school years if you go full time.  It's hard to believe that their wouldn't be a Dr. where you want to go to school, especially if it is a bigger city.

Why do you HAVE to stay where you're at, Lucas? Like Karma said, there's bound to be a doctorwho would meet your needs, especially in Eugene....

--I wanted to go full time, I talked with the couselor/advisor at KCC, but, the doctor said "NO"...he said that with the stress of maintaining grades could cause my heart to enlarge again and make things worse, and i don't want to risk the chance that (even though IMO I think a lot of what has been said about the conditions are just full of it...) i could go backwards and end up right back at the start..., there are indeed doctors at Eugene..., where i am at, things are stable, i can't work, doctors orders... (i had a row with my mum about that subject, i felt i could work, that i felt fine......and....i'll leave it at that)

--Well, other than what i mentioned above, my financing came through and costs at U/O skyrocketed, and my finances wouldn't pay all of it...(FAFSA) I refuse to get loans, i've already had a bad time trying to pay things on time,etc... You guys are correct, hindsight is 20/20 (wish it could start coming before i have to make desicions.... In fact, i was told that there was an extension part of OHSU (Oregon Health and Sciences University) in/around Eugene,...because that (or the main area in portland) is where i might end up going.....the decision just seemed so simple...finances weren't the best, grades needed to be better...(didn't take my SAT, coincidentaly, it was scheduled one of the days (the last day) i was in the hospitol) this way, i will be accepted(according to a law passed this year), having my basics covered,....well, whats done is done, gotta deal with what my decisions where....



Rut roh...do i sense a bit of a backslide here?

oh, and it will give me time to condition my self so that i have a greater chance of getting a walk on positon as QB....(though i'm 5'7.5"....
