icons at bottom pixelated and text bolded

i recently downloaded the program 'windows blinds' to give my computer a new look, i would be using it right now except it makes my icons at the bottom go all pixelated and it makes the font on my computer go bold every time i use a new skin. can someone help plz? =D

This is most likely the way that particular skin is designed. Have you tried other skins?

I had this same problem for weeks..no matter what blind I tried..all text remained bold .First try going to " display " and reapplying blind through the display..but before you hit " apply " Below color scheme where it says " font size " move the slide menu to large then back to small again..even if it was already on small..then hit Apply. Then reboot. This fixed it for me. I have no explanation for why this happens but it was driving me crazy. The other thing to check is in your WB config in user overrides..make sure fonts are set to leave fonts alone...leave default size. Last but not least..this happened more than once to me so I have had lots of practice fixing it..one other time I looked in font folder and one of the common fonts used by WB's had a shortcut arrow and none of the other fonts did. I uninstalled that font and reinstalled it directly in font folder...rebooted, again problem solved. Try the reapplying through display and resetting font size to small first.
