More mini tutorials added...

Focus on Object Desktop and Stardock Central

Just a quick announcement that I have added two more mini tutorials in my series for beginners.

Installing Object Desktop 101 Link

Achiving with Stardock Central 101 Link

I plan to post some more soon, I just need to get permissions from Brad and Mormegil for use of images.

I hope these are helpful tools.

Thanks for the support, Bichur.

OK, I've got my list and all the links. What's going to be next?

I was just looking in on another post and realized what would be useful to have is a tute on posting images in the forum. It took me a while to build up the nerve to ask back in the beginning.

If we had one earlier, we wouldn't of had as much fun with Tapper.

Hey, it's nice to be remembered in such a way...I think. On the other hand maybe I don't.
I probably laughed more than you did.

Thanks all!

I will try to work in one for posting images in forums as well.

In the works are:

- Creating System Tray Docks 101
- Return Windows XP to default theme 101
- Taskbar and Start Menu options 101
- Working with Display Properties 101

Some of these will require some shots that I need to get Brad and Mormegil's permission for, which I plan to send an e-mail to each in the next day or two.

SD,

What are you using for links to post your animations? I would like to use your method as an example with your permission - unless you want to do it?

Question for all:

Does anyone want a tutorial on completely removing Stardock programs and Stardock Central (with the exception of registry entries), or would that give the wrong impression?

I have noticed that some users have issues with uninstall/reinstalling, and as Bichur had mentioned to me, it might be nice to have a mini tutorial showing how to get the computer to the proper state for a clean install of Object Desktop, etc.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Great Job Corky! how could anyone go wrong?!? (Shhhhhh..someone might..LoL))

I think the removal "Tut" might be useful as well, there does seem to be alot of people that have trouble doing that I have noticed as well..

Keep up the great work!

Here is a pretty good emoticon site (click on smilies on the left and then english on the upper right) http://www.addis-welt.de/

and I use imageshack to host it http://www.imageshack.us/. Important to use the "direct link" after you click on "host it"

I have them both set up as Object dock icons for quick access, and of course I have saved all of my favorite emotes in a subfolder in My Pictures.

I'm looking forward to the tute! If you need more info, just e-mail me sleeping-dragon at comcast.net

Yeah, something along the lines of clearing the cache, deleting folders, etc. would be a handy link.
