4 Days, no icons?

Are our misc and object dock icons being held captive? Is there a ransom for their release? I'm willing to pay!

I think it's been something like 4 days since any were released?

Maybe everyone is taking a break from making icons. And sometimes you get a lull in any submissions, and then next thing you know you get tons of them all at once.

There are 3 Misc Icons and 23 ObjectDock items awaiting approval. For some reason when I click on the queue in question the site takes me to the news page instead of the queue... I'll assume its a bug and nothing personal

I'll report the error and get to clearing the queue asap....

I know that everyone is busy (moderators, administrators). But I have noticed once again that misc icons have been left on the back burner. And for four days again. I know there is a five day waiting period to give administrators/moderators time to moderate all the skins on the site, however, it appears that there is more a consentration on other skins like wallpapers, OD icons, desktopX, and so on.

I believe, at least from what I've noticed everyday that I visit the site, that OD icons have had releases everyday in the past four days. At least one or two or more every day. The same with wallpapers and desktop widgets released everyday. I understand how busy everyone is, but, couldn't the releases from each skinning section be a little more balanced as far as releasing them to the site?

From August 29th to today, September 2, there have been no misc icons released. This has happened a few times this summer, and I was told that maybe skinners aren't uploading very many misc icons. But I don't believe that's the case, because once those four or five days are up (at least in the recent past), that section is hit with about 20-25 icons with create dates of each of the four days between the last release of icons.

I don't know if that makes sense, and I hope everyone can understand what I'm trying to say..

I don't mean to ruffle any feathers, but I'd like to know why some sections get more consideration than others?
Or if that is in fact the case?

Hey 47songs, I have noticed this happen also. It happens for Logons and Bootskins as well, four or five days of nothing then 15-20. Wallpapers do not seem to take more than a day to be released from moderation. What I find strange about this is we are told this is not a wallpaper site yet wallpapers are be moderated while skins for Stardock apps sit and wait and wait.

Sorry about that.  Yea, we're in the process of bringing on more moderators but I've been so swamped at work that I haven't had time to get all that set up .

Due to being at work in the week + some evening commitments like college I do the majority of my moderating Sat / Sun mornings. The size of the queues means only bits and pieces get done at other times. It's called 'real life'

Last weekend I got most of the queues down to zero, but folks keep insisting on uploading stuff...

OK, I've cleared all the icon queues. I'll get round to bootskins and logons when I've had some sleep (you know, that thing I'm supposed to be doing now )

I've only got one pair of hands...   (Well, at the moment only one hand. One of the joints in my left thumb is badly inflamed and my Doc has ordered complete rest...)

Does this mean Fuzzy Logic is moderating all the icons, bootskins and logons? I thought this was divided up amongst the moderators? I didn't realize one moderator was responsible for a certain skinning section and/or more.
