Help with BOOTSKIN

I have no clue as to where to pot this.
I need help! I installed and ran BootSkin on MS WindowsXP pro. I d/lded and added a whole lot of skins. BUT after I restarted the PC, the boot skin ran and then an error message appeared for a second and the comp restarted. I had to use the "Run windows using the last best known configuration". And then I uninstalled and installed the program, but with the same results. Please help!!! I despeartely want to use Bootskin
