BootSkin Help

I am having trouble with bootskins. I just downloaded the BootSkin program at this Stardock website and downloaded a few bootskins from WinCustomize. However, when I launch BootSkin and click on "Import from File", I can't find my skins because they are all saved as BMP files, but the bootskins program requires *.bootskin files, so how do you change the BMP file into a bootskin file?

Bootskins downloaded from WC should download as a .bootskin and self install. If your OS is Windows XP SP2 there is a known issue of IE6 changing to a .zip on download. If is a zip you are getting open windows explorer, tools, folder options, view tab, make sure; Hide extensions for known file types, is unchecked. Then rename .zip to .bootskin and double click to install.
