One Sentence Request to Microsoft

One Sentence Request to Microsoft

Respond here

If you were able to have a private meeting with Bill Gates and able to request ONE thing that had to be expressed in a single 25 word statement to be added/changed/fixed for Longhorn, what would it be?

Explain.

No "please", huh?

The Amiga directory structure looks like this:

C: contains system commands (similar to .exe or .com on Windows)
DEV: contains system devices
Expansion: contains auto-load drivers for non-standard hardware
Fonts: contains fonts
L: contains system device handlers (similar to drivers I guess)
Libs: contains libraries (simlar to .dlls)
Prefs: contains system preferences (control panel type applications)
Rexx: contains Amiga Rexx scripts
S: contains system script files (similar to batch files on Windows)
System: contains system files
T: contains temporary files
Utilities: contains utilities
WBStartup: contains Workbench (GUI) startup files

Much more elegant than what we're stuck with on Windows.

This should be at the top of the list!

Hence the need for a 'Dumb-ass'-version. I suggest that this version is running on default after installation (good for about 85% of all customers).

The 'advanced' version would have to be 'unlocked' by the customer via a command-promt command, and would only apply to the account it is used on.

"Please, just give up and let Apple rain supreme."

No problem. While they're doing that, Microsoft will reign supreme.
