A Possible Ripp ... !!!!

Hi there ...

First of all, I don;t mean to aggressive to any one. Just happened to see a See a newly Uploaded skin called Media Center Style by Chris693 Link. In the discription the author has said,
Created From Visual Style Changed StartMenu Color
From White To Blue
but has not mentioned anywhere whether that specific Visual Style belongs to him or has he gotten the permission of original author to porth the visual style to WB.

I downloaded the skin, looked in compressed file for permission but found nothing. When installed, it showed that author of this skin is "Microsoft Design Team." So if my theory is correct then this skin is basically a ripp of Microsoft Royale theme which can be downloaded form

well, i went to the link you provided and it does look like a rip. hmm. how come those who "examines" the skin before it is shown public did not see this. anyway, read the comment in there which i made...

Royale has always been my fave of all the Microsoft released Visual Styles so i am kinda really sad someone would rip it and claim it as his own...

Methinks this should've been handled via emailing an admin.

Exactly. You should always contact an Admin with such issues and not go public. Neither should you post comments on skins saying same. Innocent until proven guilty applies.

Once you go public there's no way to take back what has been said if the party is innocent. Think about that and you'll see why things need to be kept private.

but, ohh.. i hope i did not do something bad by replying that kind of stuff up there. sorry.... anyway, recheck the link: the media skin center style is no more. guess the admins were noted.

Actually I had tried to contact admins via irc channel ... but no one wass available so I discussed it with WOM ... and posted here so it can be noticed ....

The message is not sinking in, sigh... 

The skin has been reviewed by at least three admins, all of whom find it ok. Innocent until proven guilty... exactly why these matters should be kept private (e-mail) and not discussed on a message board.

For the sake of good order (and fairness), the two accusatory comments on the skin have been removed. Time to let this thread slip off the board
