Help me!! Rebooting Problems!!

Hello!

I have a problem of having a Bootskin installed and not being able to boot back up to orig. When I turn on my system, it goes through the BIOS stuff then, when it gets to the OS, it ask me which one do I want. My wife had loaded a skin and when you choose that one, it would just look like it was loading then, go back to BIOS to reboot. She had made a Restore point from her login when she was able and that is what we have been using since we can't get back into the Bootskin logon. Any thoughts on what I can do to free up that one so we can use one OS instead of chosing between two OS? I tried to go to Safe mode (no luck) or even use 'use last one that worked' (don't work for me; it reboots) Anything would be great!.....Thx!

Sounds like a bit of a pickle.

You could try to "enable VGA mode" and boot into that, just in case it is a video driver incompatibility with that boot screen program.

If all else fails, you might go here Link and follow the procedure in comment #4 to do a repair, if we are talking about Windows XP.

Good luck.
