UN-Skin Applications

I don't want Microsoft applications skinned. I found the "Total Exclusion" option in the advanced configuration menu, but that doesn't seem to be working. Holding down the Ctrl-key when launching the application only prompts me to start the application in "Safe Mode". Selecting either "Yes" or "No" skins the application.

How do I get applications to launch without being skinned by WindowBlinds??

Thanks!

Which version free/paid? Which build?

I use the total exclusion in user overrides (paid ver 4.51.047). It works for me. Just make sure you add each .exe you don't want skinned.

If you don't want anything skinned when you start up, set WB to the windows default skin.

Where is that? I use the Per App settings for anything I want excluded (which isn't much), but I can't seem to locate this Total Exclusion option in what I'm assuming is the Advanced Settings dialog accessible from Display properties dialog (this is the exact same dialog as the User Overrides Bichur mentions). I see the "Inclusion list", but where is this "Total Exclusion" list you both mention? ... just curious...

Using the free version: 4.51 build 201.

Once you have an application in the exclusion list, double click the icon for it in the Exclusion List. You'll see an option for "Total Exclusion".

K-

It is in the "Per application settings" dialog (first option box), that pops up either when you first select an application, or when you select "Modify per application setting" in the WB "per application" category.

Yes, Corky, I know about the Per App settings, but both Bichur, and Baphomet say they see this in another place, and I was asking for clarification (it's the technician in me)......
