If I use the direct link I get that message every time. However, if I use the link on Mary Jo Foley's page, I can read it just fine. Go figure. Might be a security setting on my browser.

Regarding the article, if they want to do away with the cold-boot, they're not being realistic. Those of us who do development of any kind -- even loading a new set of icons -- know only too well that the lighted orange switch on the surge protector is one of our more intimate friends in the computing world!

I doubt if using the lighted orange switch to reboot is the healthiest thing for your system.
