We plan to release another version of C-4 Multimedia Player. (Link)
Newer versions of C-4 will allow skinners to place a link to the designer's website on the skin. This contest is for the new default skin which will be distributed with C-4.
Contest Rules:
- Only a screenshot is needed to enter the contest.
- You may submit multiple entries.
- Interfaces must not breach any copyrights.
- Interfaces must not be duplicates of a skin already created for another player.
- When the final candidate is chosen, that person must provide a Photoshop or Illustrator file containing the layers.
- Winner agrees that the interface, graphics, and intellectual property involved becomes the property of Imaginality Productions, Inc. (Link)
Here are the elements that are needed on the skin:
Main Form
- C-4 Title
- Menu popup button
- Close/Minimize/Shrink buttons
- Previous/Open/Play/Stop/Pause/Next buttons
- Track position bar
- Volume bar
- Shuffle toggle button
- Repeat toggle button
- Trackname area
- Timecode area
- KHz area
- Kpbs area
- Area for your link (Most likely your logo or even a url)
Playlist
- Playlist area
- Scrollbar
- Add/Remove/Open/Save buttons
- Close button
Remember, you do not need to submit a functioning skin, but only a screenshot of what it would look like.
