Firefox may work but I think your exclamation point button is sticking.

If you got bugs while using IE6, chances are you will get them using Fire Fox. Up until this year I used IE6 exclusively, and never got any bugs. Maybe you need a good Firewall and Anti Virus prog along with some good adware progs too.

There are both free and purchase versions of all three.

I actually just installed AVG and ran it for the first time..for a free AV prog it is pretty awesome..

Already have Ad-aware and Zone Alarm...they are all excellent..
Thanks Cindi for the link to AVG..

You're welcome DZ.

I've been using all 3 for years. I wouldn't trade them for any others.

Speaking of Firefox I've been using the browser in Linux. I found some very nifty extensions that make my browsing very fun. I have one extension that controls the media player that sits in the status area. I like that one because it makes listening to music while bowsing very easy. I've also been using tabbed browsing and am liking it very much. I installed another extension that automatically refreshes a page in as many seconds or minutes as I want. Comes in handy on ebay.

Other than the way Firefox displays certain sites (sometimes I see different fonts after loading a page that looks different in IE) I'm having fun with Firefox in Linux. Of course I'm sticking to IE while using XP.

jeez, I'm a gonna get slapped for this...sorry...

Kona, since you like Firefox so much in Linux, why don't you use it in XP? All those extensions you mentioned are available. FoxyTunes is cool, huh?

note: I'm not being combative, or argumentative or anything else negative. Again, I'm just curious. (nosey?)
