First Blog

February 16, 2004--- Well, this is my first, what do ya call it? Blog? Oh, yes, that's it. What exactly is a blog, can someone clue me in? I love writing. I have about 4 different journals I use on a regular basis. My life journal, my prayer journal, my friend (open) journal, my random journal, etc. I love reading about other people's lives and interests, but I have no clue why anyone would want to read about me/mine. Oh well, maybe putting my "works" on here, if that's what I decide to do, will help me organize better.

Here's a little information about myself for those of you who care:

INTERESTS~ I'm almost 17, I'm a girl, a junior and I'm self-schooled. My interests are vast; very vast! I love playing the piano, guitar, and I like singing(although of all three I'm least best at the latter). I love reading, and as I already stated, writing. I'm always on the computer, rarely watching the tv. I horseback ride/train/show. I love animals, especially horses. I like learning (almost all of the time.) I play softball (uber fun!!!) and somtimes basketball, although I am wicked bad at it. I love acting, theatre, great fun. I love being random! RANDOMINITY ROCKS!

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES~ I'm tall (5'8"ish), I have long blonde hair, that if I take enough time, which I rarely do can be either straight or curly. Naturally it's just frizzy, fluffy (yuck) (I have blonde hair, but take heed, I am no ditz, at least not most of the time) I have deep blue eyes, like a swimming pool in summer. I'm not skinny skinny, but not overweight either. I have wicked awful long legs and a fairly short torso. I'm not too bad-looking if I do say so myself. No, I'm not concieted, and don't hold that high of an opinion of myself, I'm just happy with who I am, and what I look like, regardless of what others think.

PERSONALITY~ I'm very independent. I'm self-confident, but not overly. I could never handle being in high school- too many rules. Like I said, I'm random. I like having the freedom to be outside riding my horse in the b-e-a-u-tiful (good movie, btw) sunshine and thinking about all the kids in school, in the classrooms, being spoonfed. I have a heart, really I do, it's just not apparent at first glance always. I love Jesus, bottomline. He's my all, my Provider, my Rock. I'm not so much in to the whole religion thing. I'm sure a lot of you have been in churches and it's so dry and boring, and you're searching for something, and it's just not there. Yeah, I'm into the whole relationship with Him. He has mercy, he saves, he revives. Christianity, true Christianity isn't about a set of rules, it's about your relationship with your Maker, and it's awesome. Anyway, me, I'm not like some people think of most girls. I have a tender heart, but really, I'm wild. I'm random. I drive too fast. I love life(most of the time) and all the challenges it brings(sometimes). I don't get overly emotional. I don't cry on a regular basis. I'm strange. I love to have fun! I'm funny; I have a decent sense of humour. I'm not extremely knowlegeable, but I am somewhat intelligent.

Let's see, I think that's all I have for now. I'm not totally sure how this works, but if you want to respond, that'd be wicked sweet. Peace~

Hi,

Blog is short for web log! Hope that helps : ) Good to hear all about you - don't forget to keep blogging! You've started in a good way - just let your thoughts pour out, and people will read and (hopefully) comment. Quick recommendation: go read other posts from other people, and comment on them. That way, they know you exist, and will more than likely go and read your posts back.

PS what's with the "wicked" thing?!

Thanks for responding, and thanks for the tips! Hmm, "wicked" is a word I use for emphasis. I'm not the only one who uses it... at least I don't think I am. *contemplates for a moment* Yeah, I've heard it elsewhere. Ever heard of the saying "your mom". It's about as pointless as that. lol

lol - OK! Your mom... wicked! No, that doesn't work - sounds more like a compliment!!

I am often described as just random.

I have no allegiances at all.

Bienvenue.. and have fun. Dont read my Blog though, there are things that go on there that shouldn't be seen by a sweet 16 year old girl

I actually found the use of the word "randominity" kind of...well, random. :)

I have the hindsight of having read your "Father's Love" post first. Good job and welcome aboard.
