Well, it's been 90 degrees here in Chicago all week. Summer is in full swing (in the Northern Hemisphere). What do you like to do as a summer activity that you can't do at any other time of the year? Cooking on the grill?, Boating?, golfing?, ...

I like to fish, but it's been limited lately. I also like to cook Salmon on the grill and sit on the balcony at night to feel the warm summer breezes.

Summer in Seattle is usually Mid-July through September (so not yet here).

Anything that can be done outside in the sun, we try to get done, since there is only the two and a half months.

Summer in Maine is never that pleasant. We get used to -es in the Winter, and the 80s in the summer is always miserable with high humidity.

Mosquitos are a pain in the ass too

But burgers on the grill.... Niccceee!

And going to relax on the beach is also good.

Love going to the mountains to do alittle camping, hiking, fishing and of coarse...picture taking. Also like spending time on the deck or firepit(in the evening)listening to the frogs by our pond(and all the other little noises that you hear on acerages ) Summer is short here too, so we try get out as much as we can

I like to fish


....me too, but here [in Queensland, AU] we fish year-round. Rain, hail or shine ~you'll always find me with a rod and reel in hand, if time permits.

It's why I'll always live near the ocean, no matter where I decide to live.

During the summer months we spend the early part of our free days out on the water [it's cooler at 5a.m.], ~trolling lures or live-baiting, and the afternoon cleaning down the heavy tackle and the boat. Then as the sun sets, we kick back with a few coldies and plan out where we'll next search for the elusive big game fish.

90-95% of the time we catch and release. We keep only what we need for food.

Life is good. Summer is great!

Well for me it's definetely camping, taking pictures of the wild nature...oh and of course scuba diving!

Tubing, soccer , boating, oo.70% humidity today. Thats a lot for New England. 91.7 degrees in Andover MA...

Going to the beach, watching the fire flies, gardening, listening to the night bugs and frogs, and smelling the fresh smell of Honeysuckle that fills the air. We are able to grill year round here, so we alway's like to do that!

My husband has been known to BBQ even when the snow is falling around him, so that never changes. The thing that changes is being able to get to the beach, the availability of lobster, lobster, lobster (although this years "red tide" may deplete the livelihood of the lobstermen of NE), and basking in the warmth (although the humidity of the last couple of days doens't warrent basking)! Still, I love NE, and wouldn't want to live anywhere else! I love the season changes.
