Moderation Question

First I know it says up to 5 days when submit a skin. I uploaded a bootskin ( ArticIslands ) on the fourth, is still awaiting moderation. Yet there are skins now in galleries with created/upload dates of the fifth sixth and seventh. Are things not looked at/moderated in the order of which they are upload. Just wondering how it works.
The BeatNik I upload on the fifth was in gallery on the sixth, less than 24 hours, is my bootskin not showing, it shows when select awaiting moderation on My Skins page. Again just wondering not whining.

No, it happens that way sometimes. Every now and then an entry can be accepted so late, it will come up way down the list of newest entrys. (They are posted by date, not order of moderation).

Currently there are 18 in the Queue...

Also, currently, Norton AV 2004 decided that I had to do something OTHER than look at Bootskins.

It's taken all day to convince it to work again...

Yeah...dealt with a fair swag of them..... and Norton is behaving, too.

Annoying thing was...I just paid the next sub...2 days ago....and today it went belly-up.

If I hadn't just paid again I'd have walked.....found an alternate....

I also had the paid version of Nortons and had nothing but problems with it. When the subscription ran out ..it resisted being uninstalled. But, I found the free version of AVG worked better than Nortons. I had tested it for a few months before Nortons ran out..and the only time I ran into a Trojan at a website, the AVG grabbed it, Vaulted it, and deleted it before Nortons even said " oh oh "
I would pay for AVG if they wanted money..

Fairyy ....I install AVG on all the comps I work on for others....always seemed good....and my wife's has it too....but I bought NAV back around 2000, whatever...and have used it ever since.

This is the second time it fubarred....the last time I gained 6 months longer in my subscription for nix....due to the methodology of the removal...

IMHO, ever since Symantec took over Norton's software it's been a risky propostion to install...

*Eespecially* the later System Works whereas the original Norton Utilities *used* to be 'de rigueur' on any power user's system.

AVG is the way to go. I have the registered version for years, and wouldn't trade it for any other Anti-virus prog. Karen is right. It stops the bugs before you get them. Norton will try and deal with the bugs after it lets you get it.
