Life Sucks and Then You Die
I got hurt pretty bad. Ok, I can deal with it. I've worked hard to heal up enough to get back to doing some kind of work. I'm now able to walk fairly well but can't return to my old job. I think I have finally found a half way ok job and begin taking the class needed to get the state license. The company is even paying for it. Great.
Then I find that the license fee is more than double what I expected it to be. No way I can see to come up with that much money in just a couple of days. Goodbye job.
When I get back home this evening I find out that my mother got some really bad news about her recent blood tests. Her tumor markers are back up again. We thought she had finally beaten the cancer and here it seems it's rearing it's head yet again.
What started out a good day with lots of promise has gone straight into the toilet and life just generally sucks.
Before I read dharma's comments I also thought about a loan, maybe not from people around you, but probably from your local bank? I have no idea how it works though...
