Booo!

Does it ever happen to you? You wake up one morning with a dreadful feeling and think to yourself something bad is going to happen today and you should stay in bed?

Happened to me this morning. It was dark, cold and unwelcoming, but the under my blanket it was warm, soft and nice.

Now at work, nothing bad has happened yet, but the sleepiness is still here. And gosh, i feel like a flat battery needing to be recharged urgently.

Dont you have this days when you wish you could just enjoy a tea in front of your favourite movie with your favourite pillow, in your favourite pajamas??? I do, often, and this is one of these days...

Throw a cup of cold water over your face. Won't help with bad things happening, but should get rid of the sleepy feeling

That's every day. Something always goes wrong, one way or another. And I always feel terrible every morning, often feeling physically ill as well. I'm not a morning person. I could handle Mondays, if they just didn't have mornings.

We all have days like these, Em. If I think I am, I try to spend a little time before I start work thinking positive thoughts. These help put my head into a better space.

I hope the rest of the week improves for you.

Cheers,

Maso

Mmm, maybe it's just something to do with a bored anticipation of the day (or the week) to come.

Well you see, I normally wake up, put the radio on (and they've got good bits on in the morning for some reason), have a shower and get ready for work. By then i'm all awake, and I usually walk to work, so i'm feeling good. But today I woke up at the time I usually head off to work. And it felt so cosy, nice and safe under my blanket I didnt want to move. Didnt have time to think positive thoughts either. My mind was full of "Oh no! I'm late!" and "Gah! I hate work!" and "C'mon Emilia, get the hell out of bed NOW!"....
So maybe this explains that.

I kind of like the cold overcast days as they seem to bring a sense of closeness.  The only time I feel like staying in bed is when I am sick, and then by mid day I am going stir crazy. Hope the day got better for you.

When I feel that way I opt to stay in bed, even if it's only for a few hours and go in late to work! But yes, sometimes that does happen. I guess the best way to handle it is to have a positive outlook. And then mentally put on boxing gloves, ski mask and protective footwear - here I am, ready to greet whatever's coming at me!

Yeah right - like I can see into the future!

Yeah, I know what you mean. It also makes me even more tired to sleep in so much, dont know where's the sense in that!
Hope the day got better for you.

Ah well, I just took it one hour at the time. I feel the same today again though. But this time i've decided to tackle work instead of jus feeling tired. And it works, the tiredness has left a little. But i still scare myself when i look in the mirror. I have this huge hideous dark bags under my eyes! How the hell do i get rid of them??

Heehee! How naughty! I think I did it once and i just felt too guilty to do it again...

Wow! Okay, i'll try and remember that, should be fun to imagine, lol!

Making a mental note to have loads of cold water splashed on my face in the morning instead of warm water... Brrr...
