Are the smileys working correctly?

I was wondering if others are having problems with seeing the smileys in posts around WC - All I have seen lately is red x's.

I'm getting red x too.

the strange thing is that there are image problems on several unrelated sites.  That has me thinking it is something different in my computer.

I can't see any smileys on the site other than what Jafo has posted here. All I see is red x's. I wonder if it's something wrong with my settings in IE.

well, that's another funny thing.  I can see them for some people and not for other ones even when I click on "show picture"

I love that animation GM!

Kona, I've had that happen to me once before, where any smilies or .gif images were not showing. IIRC, it was something in my IE settings that was unchecked, when it should've been checked.

Smilies working fine here, along with other gifs, jpegs or whatever...

Fine here, too. Except for Kona's first test.

All seem to be working now. At one time one of them didn't show correctly for me but does now.

I see them everywhere except the main post of each topic. In those I see a little box which says "image"

Kona,  From where did you post that smiley.  I can't reproduce the problem.

I've started new topics using SDC's "Submit New Post" and had the same problem with the red X for a smiley.

i found this reply anoying to the eye so deleted it.

[used to be hundreds of working smilies]

The non-working smilies only apply to the opening message of a thread. They work fine in any replies.

T-man, looks like something is trying to get Kona's smily from WinCustomize.com, not Stardock.com like its supposed to be.

I see that, I just don't know what caused the URL to be incorrect.

Kona, From where did you post that smiley. I can't reproduce the problem.

I posted it from here on WC using te normal smileys. It seems the smileys work fine in every response. It would also seem that the smileys do not work in the start of the thread - the opening message.
