I was thinking it meant *I hear you knocking but you can't come in*.  I was thinking that might be a reference to site slowness.

I think J'entends means I listen or I hear ...but that was from what I knew a lot of years ago.

IMO its sometimes better to just use online translators for a general idea.  Then take in consideration the general trend of the environment the statement is in and step back and imagine non-literal actions that might relate to the idea of the mechanical translations.  Then if you want to double-check your hunch take the single word that seems to be a verb and plug it back into the translator.

Okay I just tried to translate it and I come up with I hear you knock but not be able to enter. SO I'm going to assume that in translation that it does mean I hear you knocking but you can't come in. Way to go Madame GoodMorphing

Uh-oh, that's not nice. We should call our friends that are visiting our country without permission "Undocumented Workers". That won't have as much potential for hurt feelings. Just like if someone entered your house without your knowledge or permssion might be called an "undocumented guest". {I can't decide what smiley is appropriate here. Hmmm.}
