Third For the Day

Maybe Pushing It a Little

Just finished my third 2 block hobble for the day. Got fussed at a bit by mom, who thinks I'm over-doing it. She may be right, this third one hurt. But, no pain, no gain.

It had stormed a little earlier and everything was still wet. There is a stiff breeze blowing with rain scent on it and it was almost chilly. Felt good. I made the usual trip down to the end of the road to where the state is doing construction on the main N/S road just east of me. I stood there for a couple of minutes just feeling the breeze and watching traffic and then turned my back on it and started home again.

I enjoy my outings in spite of the pain. I know they'll gain me a little more strength each time. I'm looking forward to the time that I can get out and ride by bike around town and hopefully even to work.

I've always been told that when your mind is stuck, move your body. I believe that to be so true. Nothing like a walk to make you feel better, even if it hurts. Nice, smooth writing too, BTW. Me likey...

Instead of 3 today(tomorrow), why not just lengthen the other 2? Mom is right.. they always are,....
No pain no gain is a good attitude, but you also want some peace and quiet when you get back to the house

LOL Mano. As far as lengthening the walk, the 2 blocks is pretty much as far as I can go in one shot right now. I'm hoping to work up to longer ones as I go along.
