     Just a quick update... My next article will likely deal with they way the end of my Army career is being handled. I haven't been able to write about it much yet as the situation has been too confusing and emotionally charged to burden my wife, close friends, and relatives who read this blog but I promise I will have it all down in writing soon. No guarantees as to it's quality though :)

Grey, I didn't realize that your career was coming to an end. I thought you were a lifer. Granted, I know you didn't love everything about the army, but after 13 years, I figured you would coast out the last 7 or so to get to retirement before moving on. I'm interested to hear what's going on....

P.S. Not sure how long you are gonna be in the sandbox, or what your plans are after you return, but, I figured I owed you an invite at the least - Mrs. Sturgee and I are having our formal, traditional, Korean wedding ceremony this October over in the land of the not quite right. Your stinky brother is going to be there. Not sure who all else is coming yet, although Crusty-mo and the One-Eyed Nord have both said they are going to go. Again, not expecting you to come, but just thought I'd let you know on the off chance you decide to take a "vacation".

Dunno why you're getting out, but I do know that the military's dumber than I thought if it lets you go.

Getting out of the Air Force was a fiasco for me. I ended up having to lie to the ops group about my 1st sgt, and vice versa, to get them to talk to each other to process the paperwork to get me out. It worked, and its a good thing too, because I would have gotten in big trouble if either of them had figured out that I had turned them on one another. But since it did work, let them sort it out. FTA! FTAF!
