Let's put it this way...I have about as many "last 30 days" points as gained in a single article (the points whore-a-thon). I am well out of the top 20.

I do hope it gets fixed. Carebear's a good blogger, don't get me wrong, but not deserving of a permanent #2 position.

Really folks, wtf do points even mean? There's a few people I have a lot of respect for here that seem to be really hung up on this infantile idea of rankings.

Interesting comment, LW, and what I think is wrong with much of American politics today. People are tired of hearing pundits prattle on about how BAD the other side is, they want to hear the pundits tell what their side has to offer instead.

Just trying to be as cliched as possible.

Ok, we have identified a problem with one of scripts that was timing out.  Because of this timout issue not everyones daily points were being saved to the archive (which is where the stats are read from).  The script has been changed and should run properly tonight at its schedule time. 

So shortly after midnight we should see the points come back to life.  However, there most likely will be a side effect.  For those peoples who stats have not been archived they will all get saved into todays stats.  Example, if you have 5 points a day for the last 5 days that would normally be saved as 5 points for each day. But instead you will get 25 points saved for todays stats.  This will most like give those users an extra boost for the next month as they will have one day where their points are higher than normal because it is an accumation of previous days.

After the job runs tomorrow we will look into the stats again to see if we can spot any additional problems.

Our apologies for this problem and the incovenience this has caused.

No one wants to read schtick after schtick about how evil liberals (or anyone else) are, its amusing yes--but only for so long. They want something thought provoking.Thats what brings em back.I like my blog to be in the top 10, but when it isnt, I look to myself...

in case ya hyave not noticed { and I know you have} I have been doing many other things and leaving ther libs alone, check my last 25 articles I think 3 are about libs.
