A man has been sentence to 45 days in jail, as well as ordered to pay a $150 fine and to serve 2 years' probation after making obscene gestures and obscene statements, nearly running down a Burger King employee, fighting with police, and kicking out the back window of a police cruiser. What, pray tell, made this man so angry?

The Burger King employees informed him that they were out of fries and onion rings.

Aside from the obvious questions that go through my head, such as how the hell does a Burger King run out of fries and onion rings? Is this not the staple of the industry? Isn't that like McDonalds running out of crap?

In this man's defense, Burger King does have phenomenal fries, but still, this is a little much.

Well, he did the crime so he's gotta do the time...but...I think I'd be irate, too.

I'm kind of a picky eater, and so my orders get messed up all the time (beans instead of beef at Taco Bell...no meat, no mayo elsewhere)...and I especially get pissed when I look forward to something all day (Popeye's beans and rice...yummm) and then drive off to discover they left it out of my order. GRRRRRR!

No fries or onion rings? WTF? GRRRRRR!

Having said that, I don't go off on people. A combination of sweet, silly, and apologetic (even though it's not my damn fault that they screwed up the order) can accomplish much (and help avoid having my food spit in). I'll bet if he'd tried my tactic they'd have found him some fries somewhere.

Oh, I'd be upset too. As I said, how the hell do you run out of fries? You're f*cking Burger King! The one thing on every goddamn special you offer is fries! The burgers vary! The drinks vary! But everywhere, you have fries.

If Popeye's left out my beans & rice (I agree, their great!), I'd have you go back to the counter with me, with your sweet and silly smile, I bet we'd both end up with an overflowing order!! ;~D

It's not unusual for BK to run out of fries. Happened all the time at our last base, and has happened twice since we've been at this base.

It IS aggrivating, but I dunno that I'd wig out like this cat did.....

Okay, it's stupid that burger king could run out of fries. but the man has problems. if you're so desperate for greasy, aretery-clogging food, then just go somewherer else! do you know how many places serve fries!?
