ObjectDock P910 Shortcut

looking for a bit of help on this one guys

I have installed ObjectDock (not plus) and have managed to transfer all the shortcuts from my desktop to the ObjectDock taskbar (including Computer,Recycle Bin,Internet Explorer and the Start Menu)

The only icon i have left on my desktop is the P910 icon and for the life of me i cannot find the exe file that i need so that i can run the program from ObjectDocks taskbar (when the P910 is connected if you double click it it opens the explorer file then you can see c and d drives) i have tryed drag and dropping the icon to the taskbar but nothing happens

Anyone have any ideas

condemned,

I do not know what a P910 is, but if it is a piece of hardware that connects externally to the computer, and it is always recognized as the same drive letter - then you might try connecting it to the computer and finding the icon that represents the hardware in "My Computer", "Printers and Faxes", or "Scanners and Cameras" - and dragging the icon to the dock.

If it is a program, can you right-click the desktop icon > shortcut tab > use the "Find target" button to direct you to the source executible file - then drag that icon (or copy the "Target" address into the dock entry "Link" text box)?

Just a couple of questions/suggestions.

Thanks for the reply

Being the idiot that i am i always assume that people understand my vague descriptions and of course 99% of the time people havent got a clue what i am talking about LOL

SonyEricssons P910 Pda/Mobile Phone (Left Click) connects through the usb port and i am not very computer literate but i checked the usual locations but cant seem to suss it out

Right clicking on the P910 icon only brings up open, explore, create shortcut and rename

So i created a shortcut on the desktop double clicked it and it opened up the P910 (exactly what i want it to do) i dragged the shortcut to the ObjectDock taskbar clicked on it and it does nothing

So i am completly stumped now and its the last icon on my desktop (sods law)

Never mind, as always happens, two minutes after I post asking for help I find the answer myself.

Theres a program called Tweak UI (free from Microsoft) that can remove any icon from the desktop (including recycle bin, and My Bluetooth places if you want etc etc..).

I knew about it earlier, just didnt think it could remove the P910 icon as well. Oh well

condemned,

If you are still trying to get the shortcut icon to the dock, you might try opening either "C:\Documents and Settings\"user account"\Desktop" folder (where "C" is the letter drive, and "user account" is the name on the account when you are logged in), or "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop" folder (again where "C" is the letter drive).

If you find the P910 icon inside one of those folders, you can try dragging it to the dock and see if it works for you.

Note - if you find the icon in both folders, use the one in the "All Users\Desktop" folder.

It might be worth a try anyway.
