I {heart} My Penis

Acknowledgement to Gideon for the inspiration and Marcie for the initiation of this idea.

But instead of talking about physical spousal abuse, my campaign is on the emotional and mental abuse of men by ex-spouses when it comes to child custody and visitation.

It is clear that the vast majority of physically abused spouses are female.  But there are males that suffer the same fate.  By the same token, it is clear  that they vast majority of the mental and emotional abuses visited on ex spouses are on the males seeking to maintain a presence in their children's lives.

So I want to see a new dialogue started.  I want a wordsmith to come up with a script for the Penis Monologues.  To expose the double standards, discrimination and abuse that goes on daily in the United States (and perhaps world wide) against a whole segment of the population whose only crime is being born with a Penis.

But I will go further and invite women who have also suffered from this abuse to join in the chorus.  I will even subsidize the strap ons so there is no cost to participants.

(The last part is a joke in case you are not amused, but the rest is serious and valid).

It is time that all people have equal rights.

It is time that all people have equal rights, not just women.

Who says you don't? Simply because women have come together to seek the end of DV doens't mean that men can't form coalitions to protect their own rights--no one is keeping you down, Dr. Guy. You are free to campaign for your rights as you see fit--don't pretend that women campaign for theirs some how infringes on yours.

This was not an article to exclude others.  I did not make light of the fact that domestic violence is not a valid concern.  I gave attribution for the inspiration where I got it from!

I dont see how this is an infringement or even an exclusion of anyone else's campaign.  If I did so, I appologize for the inferance I will erase it once I am shown where I made it.

I dont see how seeking my rights infringes on your rights, or anyone elses, but I am not infallible, so I am open to criticism and correction when it is warranted.

You are forgiven. The last was kind of sarcastic and bitter on my part, but not at women in general. I admit it is also not in keeping with the article and I will delete it. Thank you for calling me to task.
