     Sweet Jesus this has got to be the lamest shit I have ever seen on JU. From this pointless crap (hey just post your reply here as an article and then link the original), to the long, unindented, run-on paragraphs here... Do you want people to actually read what you write or are you just testing the byte density limit of the universe? Why post dreck like this and then turn off commentary? Aaargh!

Very good point, Greywar, and an 'insightful' from me.

Actually, I'm not sure if he does want people to read what he's written. He often doesn't seem to want them to respond to it. My recent experience of his threads is that when he appears to disagree with comments posted, he deletes them, disables commenting on the thread, or even deletes the entire thread! I notice though that he doesn't delete any of Draginol's tough questions ... now, I wonder why not?

Perhaps, in the interest of saving everyone unnecessary time and effort, the bottom line ought to be - 'Move along people - nothing to see here.'

As Gideon said, each of our blogs is our apartment.  SO he has his and can do whatever he wants to in it. But when a blog is posted with a no comment, I dont read it.  basically (my wife rails at me when I say that and calls me George Lopez!), that is a "No Solicitors" sign.

Let them have their rants.  No comments means it is private to them.  Let them have their privacy.

When you post an article on all boards and forums with the title "ATTENTION" it sort of submarines any claims of privacy.

I agree with the spirit stated here, but the enter key doesn't work for me anywhere but on the forums. I have to put P tags in my original articles to make paragraphs.

Netscape did that to me as well, but IE seems to put them in just fine. I hate IE.

Not exactly sure why you get worked up about someone else's blog... I hate it too when someone's comments are disabled (like Hugh Hewitts), but seems like that's their perogative, and they'll just end up getting fewer readers. Are you really complaining about run-on paragraphs?
