The Sky/El Cielo/Ciel

For most of the day, I tend to forget that the sky exists. We spend so much of our day just looking ahead, and sometimes looking down, that we seem to take for granted the fact that the sky just always seems to be hanging up there. Even when it's snowing or raining, I use the lights to see the outline of the silver rain drops or the crystal flakes, not at the origin of these phenomena (good or bad, judge for yourself), up at the sky.
Every once in a while, though, my gaze turns to the sky. Sometimes it is accidental, sometimes not. Either way, every time I happen to glance above, I can't help but at the least do a double take. Something about the sky always draws me, and for just a few seconds, I feel complete content and serenity. If I am feeling really down, when I look up at the sky, I get more depressed. Not in a bad way, though. It is like that feeling when you feel extremely upset, and you finally meet someone who truly understands that you feel depressed, and for just a little while, you feel even more sad, but you feel better all the same because you can finally feel truly sad with this person who understands your sadness, and you feel like you don't have to hide anything. That's how the sky is. It sees everything in its truest form, and there is no need to hide.
