Some time away

from JoeUser Forums
I have been putting this off for a while now. As I look back it is at least a month or more in coming. But I just wanted to let those friends I have made here know that I can't help but feel it is time to step away for a while. There isn't any specific reason, I just have felt I needed to force anything I have written, and I don't care for that.

I would like to chalk it up to RL, but I simply am not enjoying this at the present. And that alone tells me I need to take a break.

So I am going to. I will still undoubtedly lurk a bit and read my favorites here. I may even leave a comment. But if I don't, please know I am still reading. Thanks to all here who I consider friends. Thanks for your thoughts, your kind words, and your e-friendship. Hope to 'see' you all again soon when the blogging bug bites again.

You made it for over a year, Dev...thats pretty good going by all accounts.

I totally understand the need to take a break.  I myself have been there (numerous times) and I'm heading there again.....if it's not fun, there's no point in doing it, dig?

Oh, I will still continue 'making it' as well. I have every intention of continuing this with much gusto. Just need a break to recharge those blogging batteries. Hope to hear from you, no matter what it is about.

I agree. And to be honest, I already feel this reply is easier to write because I know I won't be forcing myself to write any new articles for a while. It will be a good break for me.

"I'm so glad we had this time together..." Ah Peter, so sorry we won't be reading your words of wisdom for a while. But, it's good to take a break and have a little TLC once in a while. I look forward to your next blog, whenever that will be. Take care of yourself and "hugs" to your family and esp. big Al!

I understand 100%. Sometimes when you get bored with the ride, it's good to pull over and sit and think about what it was like before the road was here.

I'll miss you, BlueDev. I understand completely.

I love writing myself but it can be tough to consistently maintain the standard that set. The break is eventual or unless a burnout will ensue.
