I am not an expert in these things yet I would suggest you re-install iconpackager and under packages load "windows default icons". This software has other tools to rebuild your icon cache and repair icon images (see tools menu). Iconpackager shouldn't be a strain on your cpu or ram; its requirements are minimal. You could also contact stardock support.

Hmmmm, I personally have had issues with the free version of Icon Packager myself and have had to do an uninstall/reinstall..the Icons should revert back to your standard set when Icon packager is uninstalled completely..they have for me each time.

You may have to run a handy little utility by stardock called the "Zapper" https://www.stardock.com/files/odnt_zapper.exe just install the program and run it, choose what programs you want to uninstall and that should do it..

Zero.
