Chiprj should send his own pictures!  I am sure all GIs over there are as telegenic as these soldiers.

Ummmmm PHOTOSHOP! http://www.snopes.com/photos/military/boudreaux.asp If you look at the "Iraqi people happy today" picture, doesn't it look like a red out-of-focus- block parent sign in the window behind her?

And your irrelevant point is?  Notice, I did not display that picture, nor did I use Photoshop.  But for someone so filled with hatred and ignorance, you would never believe it anyway,

Go away you pitiful little gnat.

I hope everyone is also appreciative of your work and sacrafice.  We honor the GIs as we should, but sometimes forget the civilians who are over there and are just a big a target.

Thanks from someone stateside who has the right to post due to all of y'all's sacrafices.

Imagine...posting pics from Iraq that are not bloody or dont show another person dying at the hands of the former regime elements....I'm disgusted......

Well actually I'm not, it is nice and refreshing to see another side of the situation there...msm aside.

good one Dr.!

It also helps sometimes to show people obsessed with pictures, why we went. The MSM could easily show these as they are news.  Yet they do not. Curiouser and curiouser.

I want to believe that most of America understands that the pictures you have posted are the norm and not the exception, anyone with half a brain realizes that the MSM has an agenda, and success in Iraq does not promote that agenda...........

Yea Troops !!!! We know what a great job you are doing !!! Keep on keepin' my family, my country, and yourselves safe !!!!!!

Whether most Americans understand it or not, it is good that they see them, and they are reminded of that fact. I should have made a statement to that fact in the blog, but thanks for catching that.

I wish I could believe most Americans understand it. I am greatly dissappointed a good amount of time when discussing this matter.

Thanks for the reminder!

Hmm...I did this to prove a point, but I think it may have backfired. Anyways, you can either be cynical about this sort of thing or you can have faith that some good can come out of a war that you don't necessarilly beleive in.

If we've genuinely helped others, then perhaps we should feel some releif , opposed to fighting it

Hey those are really shocking pictures indeed Dr Guy!

Thanks for sharing this with us. As from the comment further, you know that unfortunately this wont change the minds of those who think America is an emperialist beast. But it doesnt really matter.

What matters is that most of us can appreciate the work and dedication of the americans back there

These are the pictures we long to see and hope we see more of them as a reflection of the true state of affairs on the ground.
