We're back!

T-man and Nakor have successfully migrated the new servers over.  Hopefully things will soon be significantly faster and more reliable than before. Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be able to set up new servers.  In case you're wondering, the colo we were at was literally out of electrical power that they could spare to new servers. So as all of the Stardock servers got busier, there was not much we could do to speed things up other than try to optimize code further and further.

Now we can look forward to faster and more reliable service. This speed increase was brought to you by WinCustomize premium subscribers! Thank you very much!

No more error pages. Great job (hope this will use for some time, cause Wincustomize community seems to increase in number everyday ).

If nothing else, this new improvement should be considered if you are on the fence regarding subscribing or not.
It's great that our Subscriber dollars have gone to improve the site we love so well.
Thanks guys for directing our contributions in such a productive way.

There has'nt been an improvement for everyone. I am having as much or more trouble now than I was before.

Yeah same, when I'm the last poster in a thread it's still showing as new posts no matter how many times I've read it or how much time has passed. I thought that was fixed.

Ditto....no improvement

I haven't seen much of an improvement myself. I get many more error messages than I did before. I also still having problems with the "envelps" that tell if a thread has new posts or has been read acting up.

The envelope problem is bad , but whats worse is waiting for the pages to download, and not even being able to get on here. And I am on a cable connection. I can't imagine how bad it is for those on dial up. My watch list can only be seen through the manage your watchlist format, so the envelopes don't matter at all on that point.. The are no envelopes in that format. I was not able to get on the sight for over 3 hours yesterday. Trying to get to the forums, leave a comment or download something takes an act of God. I am sure They are aware of this, and will get it straightened out. They have been working their butts off, I'm sure. I think that we all know now, including them, that the problems are more than just server problems. I will be patient.
