The cowardly lion aside, is this really news?  I mean if it said she could be king, that would be something!  And I guess it is news for our English brothers.  But who really cares?

The news isn't that she may be Queen, it is that if Charles takes the throne she WILL be Queen--contrary to what Charles has been saying. In order for her to not be Queen, Charles would have to not be King or else the Parliaments in all countries that have the British Monarchy as head of state will have to change their constitutions.

I find it rather interesting.

Living in a country where we still recognise the monarchy ... well Charles was just here in Oz visiting.. to be honest noone really gave a damn that he was here. More attention was placed on Mary Crowned Princess of Denmark and her Husband and their visit while at the same time as Charles, totally overshadowed his visit.

I think public support for him getting married to Camilla isnt as good as what he would like, and well from his mother the Queen? She wants people out of the Castle on the wedding night early enough so she can watch her favourite show, Coronation Street.

He wants to get married to her? Who cares? ON her being Queen? Never will happen.

I'm Canadian and I don't view the Queen (current or otherwise) as my Queen for three reasons.

1. Hereditary titles are a steaming load of bullshit. Why are the Windsors any better than my family?
2. That family is so inbred and messed up they could be on a reality TV show...hmmmmmmm...that gives me an idea...better write Fox...
3. I don't have a drop of British blood in me (to the best of my knowledge
