With all the fuss going on at the moment about Michael Jaksen I have been checking out his pictures that have been on the news.

The I started to think about how he used to look and what he looks like now.

Then I thought about what if it was compulsory that we all had to change something on our body with plastic surgery. What if it was a law?

What would I change?

Would it be a part of my face? A part of my body?

For me I think I would change the size of my nose. But would it stop there? Would we get the changing bug?



Would you then become a plastic surgery freak??

I would have a boob job.  I'd have them made equal in size and I'd have them lifted a bit.  I'd also get veneers on my teeth.

I wouldn't want to do any more than that; I'd be afraid of not looking like myself anymore.

Hey D..

there is this show that has been on daytime tele here called "the Swan".. and I've watched a few episodes and they have been really amazing in the transformations they have given to people. SOme have looked completely different to how they first looked. Have you seen that show?

My sis had a boob job because she had breast cancer and they were disfigured. She shows them off and she is proud to do so.

You know, I probably look like a real dweeb.  But I would not change a thing.  Other than lasik which I already had (that means I dont have to wear glasses).

I am glad your sis recovered.  My Niece had one as well.  Breast reduction!  yes, she was that big and it was killing her back.

I had to have a lump the size of a hen's egg removed last year. Luckily it wasn't cancer, but I'm still lopsided...so I'd like to have them fixed so they're the same size. I think I'd do the same thing as your sister and show mine off too!

I have seen 'The Swan', and I'm disgusted by it. All the contestants look the same at the end of the show.....there's no personality, no character left to their faces at all.

Assuming that the technology were there, I'd go for a fully-functional sex change. But only if it was total. If I had to take hormone supplements every day or something, just to keep it going, or if I had to wear chokers to keep my adam's apple hidden... I'd go to prison instead. Sometimes a man's gotta stand up for his principles.

Actually, I'm happy the way I am: male, content, happily married, etc. But if some kind of change is the law, punishable by death, I wouldn't mind seeing how the other half lives.

As things are, though, if the opportunity never arises, I'll die satisfied with my life. Even if it does arise, I probably wouldn't bother with it. I've just discovered that it'd be a pain in the ass to try to explain to anybody.
