Meat or Meet Market?

Today I did what a few years ago would have been unthinkable for me to do.
I took myself out of the gaydar pages. I no longer have a gaydar profile. What I have come to realise is that the meet market out there really is only a meat market where mostly guys are online wanting only to meet up for sex.
Im no longer just about that. I want more out of the people I meet. I want first and foremost friendships and understanding, soul companions who I can walk along this journey with. They are out there I know it. I have met someone who is like this and I think I am going to enjoy this journey for a little while to come, hopefully a really long while.
So Im out of the Meat market. No longer lamb for the slaughter. No longer a notch in anyones belt.
Saying this I am off to Sydney for the next couple of days. My mate is having the pins taken out of his hand so I want to be up there for that. Also things with the move should be sorted out today and I should know more this afternoon.
