An excellent article ,read it guys till the end in order to know the real truth of HazbAllah . .HazbAllah is not a threat to the United States but it is a threat to Iseral,it will be a threat to The United States if its administration ordered the U.S Army to attack Iran or Syria or Lebanon itself ,anf the reasons here are so clear ,Iran because they are shiia like them ,Syria ,Lebanon's big sister ,muslims and arabs like them ,regardless of the regime and its shiia believes,of course Lebanon well it is their country
HazbAllah is just defending his land by its way and I think the U.S will have to deal with it ,not by the american terms but by the HazbAllah's .

First the lebanese people support it and respect it ,after all they were from one of the reasons that were behind the Iserali retery from South of Lebanon, after all they were behind the freedom of the lebanese prisoners with the Iserali captured pilot ,I remember this day very good in all Lebanese TV channels ,Lebanon was dancing happily with the return of its man ,and really it was surprising that the party accused by Terrorism respected the international agreement about the prisoners of War,that the Iserali Pilot or officer seemed healthy respected man ,while the lebanese prisoners seemed coming from hell !!!

Second HazbAllah is already the unofficail lebanese army ,for God Sake ,the Lebanese army is responsible only to stop strikes ,fight fire ..etc ,it is a civilian army if you understand what I am saying ,it is the known that Southern Lebanese are tougher than northen lebanese ,coming from living in the mountains ,hard way living and so one ,My neighbour is chirstian lebanese who once told me that HazbAllah is popular in her town becuase they protected Lebanon ,Lebanese adore their land

Third HazbAllah is not only a militant group it is a political structure ,with members in the Lebanese Parilment,a socail structure with many socail foundations like Orphanges, hospitals. it is popular and if you watched just last week they had a great protest in Beirut their supporters were hundred thousands from the capital only,it already has the whole south in under its protection

fourth the lebanese Leader Walid Johnbolat said thousand times 'no for taking the weapons from the hands of HazbAllah people ' Johnbolat is one the first figure in the lebanese opposition despite he is now angry from HazbAllah ,because of some protests in the South described him as Iserali Agent or something similar ,yet they stand all on the same floor

HazbAllah could have win the respect of the west if it plays the game well ,the media game ,attacking Judism and associated it with Zoinism all the time is wrong ,I was taught in the School that those two are different things ,Judism is a religion muslims respect it and believe in it and its prophets while Zoinism is political movement yes arabs against it jus like me ,but it already exists ,already has its power ,already we have even to respect and understand it .HazbAllah doesn't do this ,if it moves like Nasser's policy attack Iseral and its supporters.this is not from the art of Politics ,If they just changed the tune to another calm one or as we say in Egypt keep what is in the heart in the heart .They have to know there is already a country called Iseral with people called Iseralis ,even the Palestines who lost their land 1948 understand this clearly and act according to it

HazbAllah radical islamic views go to its Shiia believes 'yes they are Shiia if you don't know ,so don't associate Ben Laden with them ,they hate Bin Laden And Bin Laden Hates them too'

I think sooner or later the U.S will admit that there is a political power called HazbAllah of Lebanon not as terrorist group
Here I don't defend them because simply as an arab who lives in the region ,who knows history of it very well ,I know that Southern lebanese people didn't carry the gun from nothing , I know how they think ,how they feel .

If you go to south Lebanon ( by the way it is so beautiful) you will find HazbAllah achievements from Schools ,hospitals ,Charities all for muslims and chirstians , they are building not destroying ,A terrorist group would n't do so ,a radical group wouldn't do so ,remember Talaban

Interesting artcle. Thanks for sharing it wth us. Iran and Syria have long been fighting in a war with the U.S. The only difference now is we are finally shooting back.

If by that you mean murdering innocent Israelis, then they need to put their heads together and come up with new a new way. Hezbullah is a terrorist organization, and nothing they do in addition to that wipes away the blood from their hands. They, like Hamas and the rest, pay lip service to the Palestinians, because without their suffering they'd have no reason to exist. So, they build a few schools, feed a few people, and blow someone up every time there is a chance for peace.

They should have no dealings with civilized nations, and no nation that supports them should be considered civilized. A grave mistake was made dealing with the terrorist Arafat and pretending he was a diplomat. No such mistakes should be made with any other terrorist leader.

so what about the innocent civilian lebanese that were killed bnecause of the Iserali hunt to the Palestinians and the lebanese resisitence
Read the lebanese news carefully and understand especailly the news lately ,you all will know that Hamas wishes to be in the same level like Hazballah ,Building some schools and feeding people are not easy thing, no comparison between Hazballah and P.L.O
and no comparison between Arfaat and Shekih Hassan Nassarallah ,I respect the latter then Arfaat .arfaat was a big liar and P.L.O didn't give to palestinian as much as Hazballah gave to lebanon

The united States of America administration says as it likes that it is terrorist group and give this perception to the american people but the reality that American administration has to deal with in Lebanon and its people ,that they don't look in the same way to the party ,it is a major player on the lebanese scene and the key to the south of Lebanon with the movement of Amal 'charachertized as being terrorist by Iseral " according to the last parliment elections in Beruit

Few lebanese considered HAzballah terrorist and this isnot for Iserali people sake more than their personal interests just like MIcheal Own , who when returened fom exile to Beruit ,said it is possible to be an ally to Hazballah ,then he himself became an ally to Syia's allies in Lebanon 'went to Congress from two years saying Syria is terrorism supporting country and an evidence for this palestinian groups and Hazballah '

What an asinine excuse for an arugument. If somone shoots up a local pre-school, then hides in a orphanage, and orphans are killed while apprehending him... are the police attacking orphans?

We don't have to deal with Hezbullah, no more than we have to deal with al Qaeda or Hamas. Unless you mean 'deal with' in terms of killing them on sight.

I understand your feelings towards those groups and especailly the El-Qaida but here I concretate on Hazballah
ironically all these feelings we have too in the arab world people who think in the same manner towards Iseral and they got good historical reasons ,The kana incident , the Egyptian P.O.w .. etc !! here I am not putting Iseral with El-Qaida but you got what I am saying !?

here I refer to the lebanese situation and Hazballah as a major player please go back to the news ,the american ambassdor in Lebanon says continually that Hazballah will be erased from the terrorism list if it leaves the weapons away and stops suporting Hamas and admitts the rights of Iseral , so here is the american administration will forget the Beruit 1983 if HazbAllah did what is requested from it ,so they want to deal with it ,why ? because it is major political player and put 1000 lines under political players, it is there and you can't deny it or delete it and this is different from the palestinian groups or El-qaida ,here I am talking about the whole south of Lebanon , and even the majority of North of Lebanon respect and support it

My neighbour is chirstian lebanese who defends Hazballah rights , kill HAzballah ,you will have a war with a whole nation 'Kamal Johnbolt ,Lebanese Dorooz leader and most important figure in lebanese opposition now ' Hazb allah has its own right to defend itself ,to leave the weapons ,but any attack on it ,I will stand defend it myself '

In 1982, at the request of the government of Lebanon, the United States agreed to participate, along with the French and Italians, in a peacekeeping force in war-torn Beirut, where Moslem and Christian factions were fighting. On 24 March 1983, the 24th Marine Amphibious Unit were dispatched to Lebanon. In April 1983, the U.S. embassy in Beirut was struck by a terrorist driving a van loaded with 2,000 pounds of explosive. 63 people were killed, including 17 Americans -- a number that included one Marine and the entire CIA Mideast contingent. On 23 October 1983, a terrorist drove a truck loaded with explosives into the headquarters building of the First Battalion, 8th Marines, located at the Beirut airport. The resulting explosion killed 241 American servicemen. The French peacekeeping contingent was also struck, and 58 French soldiers perished. Three months later, the Reagan administration removed American troops from Beirut. A naval presence was maintained off the coast.

You're not faithful to your religion, because you support those who are not merciful and who target the innocent. Hezbollah is not faithful to your religion, because they have no care for the Palestinian people, and only use them as an excuse to kill innocent people. The Lebanese government is illegitimate because they support terrorists and allow Hezbollah free riegn to kill Israelis on their border.

This statement is almost true I was there as a British soldier you forgot to mention us, recorded as a peace keeping force we had no casulties.We probably saved Lebonese lives and helped to stabalise the situation but had to leave when we found that we could not interfere in the civil war and the Western presence was beginning to make matters worse. A pity we did not learn from this in later conflicts, particularly Iraq.The problem is we in the west do not know our history and forget things for convenience.
