Hello JU Community,

We have recently done some work behind the scenes to begin the process of making JU a faster site to browse and enjoy. 

Of course along the way there are a few speed bumps such as comments dissapearing. 

Please let us know if you have experienced this by posting the article your comment originated from.

Don't know whether this is the place to post it or not, but about the same time the comments started disappearing the forum stopped updating for me.

I see new discussions appear, but comments don't seem to make discussions rise to the top of the lists, and they don't seem to be numbered.

Just chiming in, sorry if OT.

My comments seem to be alright but are you aware of the fact that the forum read flags are no longer resetting?

i'm also having some trouble commenting on articles from the forums -- including this one...I've had to go through the actual blog to comment on several articles and I've been logged out almost every time I've clicked a link...

my comments are fine, but my edit/delete functions only appear about 25% of the time

Myrr: the edit/delete thing has been around a long time. The only way I can get them back up when they disappear is to close all the browser windows and come back. It must reset the session or something.

I've also noticed the past day or two how the forums don't seem updated.

No more problems with replying. Just the forums not updating. I did notice sometimes the page needs to be refreshed a few times before all the replies appear, sometimes there's just a space indicating that a member replied, but the space is blank.

I posted a new article 45 minutes - 1 hour ago and it still has not posted on the FORUMS page. I think this may be the same thing InBloom is experiencing.

that comment thing happened through the forums again to me today -- I went to the blogsite and I could comment -- going through the forums, it said I needed to log in, but I was logged in when I went to the blog site...

LinkLW seems to be having alot of trouble.. what more her posts arent showing up in the forums at all.. none of them. The above link is to a post that she wrote to attraxt some attention to the problems she is having..

BTW when is she going to be allowed to comment on other peoples threads again? Dont you think she has had enough time in the sinbin? I think she has been a good girl for a while now!

I just wrote an article but it still isn't in the forums after 10 minutes. But it looks like this forum problem is pretty widespread. I guess I'll just wait til tomorrow and hope I don't have to rewrite it.

I don't have trouble posting, but the watch thread link keeps disappearing. And it may very well be that no one is reading my stuff, but I used to get a fair amount of comments and I've got nearly 6 of my last posts completely blank.

I've had a comment disappear on the article linked there.

And that SAME article, btw, sometimes comes up with "sorry, this article doesn't exist." Well, I haven't deleted it, and, yes, if I go about finding it, it's still there. It's open to a general audience.
