The Bible, Is it really the word of god?
Here's my spin on the subject.
The bible is and I belive always will be a good book for humanity, Live your life by the princibles set out in this book and surely your life will be furfilling and complete.
(I must confess right now that I have not read this book cover to cover and do not profess to be an expert at anything else but the preservation of my children,my wife and myself) So that being said the randomness of my thoughts will now attempt to explain what is sure to be misinterpreted However no-one can stop me writing this not even me.
Religion it seems to me is a nasty thing and every morning its broadcast to the millions around the world sending the word of god via satalite to your tv and radio and even by email its all over the world and if it is not its coming soon to save your soul (cause it needs saving your wicked dont you know) Hey have you ever watched one of these shows god is alive and well within the hearts of these people. The power of god happens right there because the man in the white suit said that it did. OK the point is that the shows are there to show you how these people are taking the word of god to the masses and look how many souls we have saved this week and with your help we can double that quota next week because there are millions of people in the world that need to belive in the lord.And thats where they lose me.OK they have to eat so I havent got a problem with these people making a bit of cash I am sure most of it gets channeled to the people who need it.
It's the You must do this to enter the kingdom of heaven thing that I simply cannot subscribe to.
Eternal life is not achived through some ceromony at the house of god as long as I belive in him I will be saved and if I do something bad the devil is at work.
NO I DID IT and this blog is going round and round but there you go my mind works in mysterious ways so anyhow during the meanwhilst the point I think I am tring to make is that eternal life is past down the generations I will live on long after I am dead, A part of me has been past on to my children and they will pass it on down the line. Then in other ways I will live on in the memories of every person I have ever come in contact with,Including you, As you read this you may or may not remember it it does not matter I have touched you now I live on weather I have any influence on you or not.I hope not as I feel we all need to influence ourselves a little bit more.
So there you have it somthing about nothing has been said and I feel better about saying it even if I am not really sure what I have said I think its that the bible's a good book and It's up to you how you interpret it and if you have a need to belive Belive in yourself and accept that you will have good days and bad days in this life and its all because of you.
