Is anybody having this UP problem with 1.13

from Stardock Forums
Every single time that I get the UP issue about how many techs to share with other races 10,8,,5,1etc, every single time my computer freezes, anyone else having this problem, it has happened in 4 different games and every time the computer freezes and I have to reboot. :notsure:

Read the sticky note on bug reports for version 1.13 or delete the UP tech files in your galciv/data/UP_issues directory

The fix for this is on the mods site click the pix of the UP on rhs of main screen

I just replaced the files with the ones Carielf indicated in this post in the "tech sharing issue" sticky thread:

Also, if you put the files in the mods folder, make sure that you enable mods. If you use the files in xtechs.zip, it is safe to use the TechRevolution issues.

The first link is the same, but is actually a link this time.

The second one contains the tech revolution up issues.

The third contains the full set of original files for 1.13 "

I downloaded the 2 first files and replaced the original ones. It did work for me (in my last game I had the tech share issue, and as a result I lost a lot of money and diplomatic ability advance (i was keeping some techs to sell them later (:( )

Sorry for that, I am always selling the techs to get the upper hand in cash flow, if the AI's run out of money you can research and keep them bankrupt. ;)

I had weird things happen when I just put the files in my mods folder. I would back up the other files to a zip file or something and put them in the normal data directory.
